Hello, I’m Lorna Tumilty, a celebrant who believes deeply in the power of meaningful moments and the stories that shape us.
I didn’t arrive at this work by accident. As a cancer survivor, my view of life shifted in ways that are hard to put into neat sentences. Time became more precious. Words mattered more. Connection stopped being optional and became essential. That experience gently but firmly nudged me towards a career that felt purposeful, human, and rooted in what truly matters.
Becoming a celebrant was a natural turning point. I wanted to support people through life’s significant moments with care, warmth, and honesty. Whether I’m creating a wedding ceremony, a naming ceremony, or a farewell, my focus is always the same: to reflect your story in a way that feels true, respectful, and personal.
I take time to listen, to understand what matters to you, and to shape a ceremony that feels authentic rather than scripted. No two lives are the same, and no two ceremonies should be either.
If you’re looking for someone who approaches ceremonies with empathy, intention, and a genuine appreciation for life’s fragility and beauty, I’d love to hear from you.
